Running For Charity

Running for Charity

One of our Physios, Jo Hawkins, has been pretty busy running for charity in recent months.

At the end of last year she took part in the Great South Run in Portsmouth. She did the 10 mile race in 1 hour 27 minutes and managed to raise £654 for Daisy’s Dream – a fantastic local charity who support children and their families through serious illness or bereavement of someone close to them.

Then this April Jo ran the Reading half marathon in aid of the charity BIBS who support babies and their families on the special care baby unit (Buscot ward) at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.  She managed to complete it in a personal best of 1 hour 50 mins and raised £430 for BIBS!

Thank you very much to the patients and staff at 3 Way Healthcare for sponsoring Jo and supporting her through the challenges.  What next Jo?!?
